2024 Dragon Blue-and-White Porcelain Tapestry

This work was created to celebrate the Year of the Dragon and is based on the outline of blue and white porcelain.

The dragon pattern is draw on the bottle in a modern form.

The moving direction of the dragon also means soaring up. 

The overall presentation should be a three-dimensional porcelain transformed into a flat surface.

What should be a hard texture becomes a soft fabric.

You will find the sign "This Side Facing Up", which is a common sign during the transportation of real porcelain products.

Integrated with the meaning of blessing and put the ornament  in the four corners, 

it looks like a typical oriental traditional cultural pattern at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it shows unique interest.

Huang born in 1992, mainly engaged in brand identity, graphic design and visual creation.

He committed to designing each piece with a novel and unique way of thinking, 

without a specific style or form of expression.

Huang emphasize that vision works are only means of translating ideas and creativity into concrete form. 

So he prefer working physically, by finding methods that correspond to the concept of the work, 

to make ideas can be conveyed more thoroughly.

Huang really enjoyed the process of working with the different production unit to overcome problems and complete the work.

In the field of graphic design,  Huang's works have won Red Dot, iF and Golden Pin Awards.
